Travel in Myanmar, tourists can choose flight, train or coach. Generally, flight and train are expensive in price and the tickets are difficult to obtain. Coach is convenient but with poor facilities. In summary, taxi, renting car or private vehicle is the best choice for traveling in the country.

Myanmar’s international flights only reach China, Japan, Korea and other Southeast Asian Countries, while domestic flights are available among popular destinations through Air Mandalay, Yangon Airways and Air Bagan. Trains are slow and needs more hours to get to the destination if compare with coaches though a slower government-run train can offer scenic views along the way.

Travelling in a city, it should be a special experience to try tuktuk (Myanmar trishaw) as locals do, or rent a bike (the most popular way used by locals) to get around. And in Bagan, horse and cart is a romantic choice; it is quite convenient and carter can be your excellent local guide.
