15 kilometers from Phuket Town, Hat Patong is the most spacious and most visited seabeach in Phuket Island which provides most perfect facilities with most expensive prices. Its picturesque scenery, attributes to coconut grove, turquoise water and soft sand beach, attracts an increasing number of tourists. Hat Patong is recognized as a diving base with finest seawater in Asia and the crystal water produces a great variety of aquatic lives. The 5-kilometer-long seabeach of Patong offers kinds of water sports, such as swimming, sun bath, banana boat, sailboarding, yachting, and the like.

Hat Patong is also a good place for funs. In the vicinity of the sea beach are several streets of hotels, shops, restaurants, supermarkets and kinds of recreational facilities. In the evening, it is suggested to go around the Bangle Road if you want to a live local night life experience. Most open air bars do business till late at night there.
