Established in 1973, Chiang Mai National Museum mainly exhibits historical and cultural relics, art works of Lanna period, various kinds of cold weapons used in 14th and 15th century, and household utensils and handiworks of mountainous ethnic groups live in North Thailand. Among all articles, the sculptures of Buddha images of all styles are most exquisite, a huge bronze one of which is most striking.
