Yangon-Bago-Thanlyn-Yangon 4 Days Tour

You will be met at the airport by our guide and proceed to the hotel by our private car. You will have the following sightseeing:

* Visit to the 2600 years old Sule Pagoda marking of the city centre;

* See the old and quite impressive buildings surrounding Mahabandoola Park;

* Admire octagonal Botataung Pagoda near Yangon River; pass famous Strand Road;

* China Town including a short visit to a over 150 years old Chinese Temple;

* In the evening, the highlight: You will visit world famous Shwe Dagon pagoda with its 109 meters high solid gold stupa glittering in the soft light of the afternoon sun. This golden wonder has become the symbol of the capital. There you will experience the deep religiosity of the local people, for example, the water sacrifices for the weekday Buddhas. 

* Take a photo with Karaweik Palace Restaurant Buliding floating on the Royal Lake. If you have the buffet dinner in the restaurant and you can enjoy the traditional dance. Overnight in Yangon.

Depart Yangon in the morning for the drive to BAGO the ancient capital of the Mon 86 km northeast of Yangon (50miles , Round about 2 hours. Your full day of sightseeing in Bago.

* Shwe Nyaung Bin :  a “Nat” tree shrine

* Allied War Graves cemetery near HTAUK KYAN .

* Outmost characteristic monastery of Kya Khet Waii Monestry, a teaching center for hundreds of monks from all regions in the country to study Theravada (Hinayana) Buddhism. Your will have time to observe the monks walking mindfully in procession for their last meal of the day.

* The over a thousand years old SHWEMAWDAW PAGODA with its Zedi taller the SHWEDAGON PAGODA (116m).

*The 55-meter long reclining SHWE THA LYAUNG Buddha, which is among one of the country’s most impressive image.

* The four giant Buddha images at KYAIK PUN PAGODA.

*The local tradition in a ‘Mon’ weaving and handicraft village.

Evening time drive back to Yangon. Overnight in Yangon.

Drive to Thynlyn (Shyriam). When exploring the sleepy village SYRIAM, which was once a major port giving base for a Portuguese adventurer, Philip De Brito who actually ran his own little kingdom from Thanlyin siding with the Mon in their struggling against the Bamar. Take a boat to see YELE PAYA TEMPLE (middle stream), set on a tiny island in the river. Stroll through the riverside market.

In the evening visit Nanthida Jetty, walk around and take the photos with colonial building along the strand road: the strand hotels, Yangon Post Office, the custom houses, etc.  

Overnight in Yangon.

After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Yangon International Airport for your flight departure.
